Findlay also referred to as the Greater Findlay area is 1 of 2 cities located in Hancock County OH. Findlay is the second-largest city in the Northwest Ohio area and is must visit if you’re ever in the Ohio area. Our major shopping center is the Findlay Village Mall which opened in 1962, it has great stores and attracts a lot of visitors when they come to town.
Depending on when you come to Findlay you can partake in some of our great annual activities like The Hancock County Fair that happens Labor Day weekend, the Findlay/Hancock County Halloween Parade in October are just a few to mention.
For sports fans, the University of Findlay participates in Division II athletics as a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Findlay Men’s Basketball team were the NCAA Divison II champions for 2008-2009 season after capping off a perfect season going 36-0.
